Dori’s Marginal makes it to France

A French broadcaster has acquired an Argentinian crime drama about a former cop who enters a prison to solve a kidnapping case from Israel’s Dori Media Group.

Canal+ has taken El Marginal (The Outsider), a coproduction from Underground Producciones and TV Publica that was created by Sebastian Ortega. The series premiered on TV Publica in Argentina in June.

Dori oversees worldwide sales of the show, which focuses on an ex-cop who attempts to infiltrate a gang of prisoners who have kidnapped the daughter of a prominent judge. Nadav Palti, CEO of Dori Media, said the French sale was “a ringing endorsement of the quality of the show.”
