Dora and Rosa get Czech success

MIP JUNIOR: A Czech Republic-based broadcaster is on board an animated fantasy adventure series picked up by UK-based distributor Media IM earlier this year.

Ceska Televize is coproducing The Great Adventures of Rosa and Dora (52×11′), which follows a pair of seven-year-old twins who must repeatedly save the world from the exploits of their trouble-making dog Laiko, with the help of their Grandma.

The show uses cut-out animation techniques and is aimed at six-to-eight year-olds and produced by Prague-based Bionaut Animation with Media IM representing the series internationally.

London-based Media IM launched in 2014 and is headed up by former Viacom International Media Networks sales executives Maria Ufland and Irina Nazarenko.
