Doki sells across globe

Portfolio Entertainment’s Doki

Broadcasters in the Middle East, North Africa and Russia, plus an SVoD service operating in Europe, North America and Asia, have acquired animated show Doki from Canada’s Portfolio Entertainment.

National Geographic Channel has acquired the first season of Doki (26×30′) for its kids’ block in the Middle East and North Africa, while Studio U7’s Channel Ryzhy in Russia has purchased the first and second seasons of the series (52×30′).

The show centres around a curious cartoon dog and his friends who travel the world to answer important preschool questions.

PlayKids, meanwhile, has taken SVoD rights to Doki in the UK, Ireland, US and Canada, as well as season one of the Dr. Seuss-inspired preschool series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
