Doctor Who and Sherlock head to Brazil

NATPE: Brazilian broadcaster TV Cultura has picked up a package of hit BBC dramas from the UK pubcaster’s commercial arm BBC Worldwide.

The deals, sealed at Natpe in Miami this week, include eight seasons of sci-fi series Doctor Who and three seasons of Sherlock.

The deal will see the series made available on the free-to-air channel in Brazil and also includes successful kids’ content such as Andy’s Wild, Andy’s Dinosaur and Charlie and Lola.
