Disney orders Club Penguin special

Disney in EMEA is localising a one-off, festive animated show produced in the UK in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch.

We Wish You a Merry Walrus (1×22′) is being made by Cheshire-based firm Factory and will air on Disney Channel UK next month before traveling elsewhere in Europe ahead of Christmas.

The toon follows a seafaring penguin that goes on a festive adventure to find the fabled Merry Walrus Island. The show was inspired by the online Disney Club Penguin brand.
