Discovery takes Prime Nazis doc

Discovery Communications has acquired a Holocaust documentary from France- and LA-based Prime Entertainment Group.

Einsatzgruppen: The Nazi Death Squads (4×52′) will air on Discovery’s American Heroes Channel in North America following the deal with Prime.

The documentary series about the horrors of the Second World War focuses on the massacre of close to two million men, women and children who were shot to death by Nazi firing squads in Eastern Europe and the Baltics.

Other broadcasters to have acquired the series include France 2, Polsat in Poland, Societe Radio Canada and Netflix.
