Discovery raids TVF catalogue

Discovery has acquired a host of factual programming from London-based distributor TVF International for its channels in MENA and Asia.

Aerial Asia takes viewers to the Great Wall of China

Discovery Asia has ordered Aerial Asia (9×60′) which captures the journey from the Great Wall of China to the Gobi desert from the air.

Meanwhile, Discovery India has acquired over a hundred shorts from TVF International’s new shortform catalogue, which includes videos on food, style, fitness and travel.

Elsewhere in Asia Pacific, Discovery Australia and New Zealand has picked up rights to 14 Minutes From Earth (1×84′), which tells the story of the world’s highest free fall jump.

Finally, Discovery Poland has licensed Channel 4’s China’s Forgotten Emperor (1×52′) and in MENA the broadcaster has picked up the first two seasons of ITV’s competitive fishing format The Big Fish Off.
