Bernard Ho is joining the US factual giant in San Francisco as VP of partnerships and development at Discovery Digital Networks (DDN).

Ho previously served as senior director of business development at Samsung where he worked on the digital content offer on its Smart TV platform.

DDN’s current output includes daily shows such as The Philip DeFranco Show alongside weekly series and live events. It generates more than 375 million monthly streams across platforms, according to Discovery.

Ho will report to Nathan Brown, senior VP of development and operations for DDN.

“Discovery Digital Networks has developed meaningful relationships with millennial audiences through its extraordinary portfolio of brands, including Seeker, SourceFed and Discovery VR,” said Ho.

Earlier this year Discovery tapped Suzanne Kolb, the former president of E! Entertainment, to oversee DDN as executive VP and general manager.
