Discovery gets Naked again

Discovery Channel in the US has renewed its hit format Naked & Afraid for a third season.

The premiere of season two in April attracted a total of 3.471 million viewers, so it’s little surprise to see it being renewed for a third run.

Airing at 22.00 on Sundays, the format sees a man and woman dropped into a remote location with no food, water or clothes and challenged to survive on their own for 21 days.

The show is produced by LA-based Renegade 83 Entertainment with David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe and Steve Rankin executive producing. For Discovery, Denise Contis and Joseph Boyle are executive producers.
