DHX’s Massive Monsters on the march

Massive Monster Mayhem was ordered for Nicktoons in the US and Canada’s Family Channel

Broadcasters including ABC in Australia have picked up an original kids’ series combining live-action and CGI with competition and comedy.

Massive Monster Mayhem is aimed at 6-11s and has also been acquired in Europe by Lagardère’s Gulli TV and Canal J in France, TVE’s Clan in Spain and CiTV in the UK.

The show is produced by Canada’s DHX Media and was co-created by 7ate9 Entertainment’s Artur Spigel and Michael Chaves.

It was originally commissioned by Nickelodeon for Nicktoons in the US and Family Channel in Canada last autumn, with new episodes set to air this summer.

Spigel is executive producer on the series along with DHX Media’s Steven DeNure, Anne Loi, Ken Faier and Josh Scherba.

Global distribution for Massive Monster Mayhem is handled by DHX Media.
