DeA Kids adds DreamWorks’ Netflix shows

De Agostini in Italy has signed an output deal with DreamWorks Animation Television for more than 600 episodes of the latter’s content.

DeA Kids, the main channel in the De Agostini group television network in Italy, will begin airing the DreamWorks programming next month.

The first two series set to debut in September are All Hail King Julien and The Adventures of Puss in Boots, both of which premiered on Netflix internationally earlier this year.

Planeta Junior, a De Agostini and Grupo Planeta company, helped negotiate the deal and acts as DreamWorks’ licensing agent in Southern Europe and across CEE.
