Primetime singing format The Final Four has been picked up in the UK by CPL Productions, marking the first deal between the company and Israeli distributor Armoza Formats.

The Final Four sees four singing talents chosen by a trio of music judges in the season premiere before other hopefuls perform at auditions to try to steal their spots.

Anyone can become a contestant on the show via submissions using a dedicated app, but only the best will be able to challenge the four finalists.

Local adaptations of the series have been commissioned by Fox in the US and CTC in Russia.

Since its launch at MipTV earlier this year, The Final Four has been picked up in major territories including France, Spain, Italy and Denmark.

CPL will now pitch a UK version to local broadcasters.
