Content rejigs US, UK sales

Transatlantic producer-distributor Content Media has promoted senior executives at its sales arm in LA and London as part of growth plans in North America and EMEA.

Saralo MacGregor, Content Television’s LA-based executive VP of worldwide distribution, has had her role widened to include US acquisitions and development, while Jonathan Ford will now take the lead on the distributor’s worldwide sales from London.

As executive VP of acquisitions, development and sales, MacGregor will acquire and develop content in the US and Canada, whilst continuing to lead the company’s sales to Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Content Television currently has first-look deals with transatlantic drama and comedy specialist Caryn Mandabach Productions and Edyson Entertainment, which has offices in LA and Toronto.

MacGregor joined Content Television (fka Fireworks International) in 2001 from NBC International, where she held the role of VP international sales.

Jonathan Ford

Jonathan Ford, who previously managed the company’s EMEA television sales and oversaw worldwide digital and on-demand sales, has been upped to executive VP, sales and distribution.

Former Sony Pictures Television International exec Ford, who has been with Content for just under a decade, now oversees worldwide sales across the Content Television and Content Digital divisions.

Both positions report to Greg Phillips, president at Content Television & Digital.
