Drama Series Pitch Competition launches at Content London
The first Drama Series Pitch Competition will take place during The International Drama Summit at Content London, providing a new platform to launch scripted series.
Up to six projects will be selected to present a 10-minute pitch to a panel of leading drama commissioners, and to conference, during the event.
The winning pitch will receive a marketing package through C21Media worth £20,000 to support the series’ development and pre-sales promotion.
The competition will also provide a high visibility opportunity for companies aiming to use Content London as a marketing platform to release new series.
Making the announcement C21Media editor-in-chief & managing director David Jenkinson said: “The Drama Series Pitch Competition provides a great opportunity to launch a new series in a fresh way. We are looking for early sight of projects that may have some of the elements in place but need further packaging for the international market. Perhaps the show has a local broadcaster attached but needs international partners, perhaps it is fully funded but needs global sales. Most importantly we are aiming to showcase exciting new drama to the global scripted business in a unique way to bring partners together”.
The Drama Series Pitch Competition is open to early stage projects from established producers and distributors from all corners of the world. For full entry details please email [email protected] or call C21 to discuss.
