C21Kids Content Futures takes place at Picturehouse Central in London on November 29 as part of Content London 2016, our three-day celebration of the world's best entertainment.

The event will provide a host of networking opportunities alongside stimulating sessions featuring some of the most active commissioners and producers of children's content working in the business today.

A rich mix of best-in-show properties will go under the spotlight to find out what made them the hits they are and what their success tells us about today's audience of digital natives.

We are approaching a broad range of participants to take part in sessions under the following themes:

C21KIDS CONTENT FUTURES: Animation
Cartoons remain as popular with young kids as ever, while the demand for new animated series among OTT players shows no sign of waning: but is this making it harder for new IP to break through and how is the business model of animation changing?

C21KIDS CONTENT FUTURES: Live-action
A UK tax break for producers of children's live-action content has seen an increase in the number of commissions of dramas and comedies for kids, featuring kids. We'll find out what the challenges and opportunities are from the people behind some of today's biggest shows.

C21KIDS CONTENT FUTURES: Digital originals
With more potential platforms to launch a new piece of IP on existing than ever before, we'll explore the online-first strategies of some of the web's most popular properties and see how they are plotting their journey across a variety of different screens.

C21KIDS CONTENT FUTURES: The road ahead
Brexit, consolidation, online regulation and new tech mean the future of children's entertainment has never looked more exciting- or uncertain. We'll hear from those with their fingers on the pulse to see what the next 12 months and beyond could hold for kids TV.
