Comedy Central flexes Corporate muscle

Corporate follows junior executives at a large company

Viacom-owned US cable channel Comedy Central has renewed its dark comedy Corporate for a second season.

The show was created by Jake Weisman, Matt Ingebretson and Pat Bishop, and stars Weisman and Ingebretson as junior executives-in-training at a corporation.

Comedy Central has already added two other scripted shows to its forthcoming slate.

The Other Two is from former Saturday Night Live co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, and Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video.

South Side hails from former Late Night with Jimmy Fallon writers and performers Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin as well as Bashir’s brother, Sultan Salahuddin.

Corporate airs on Wednesdays at 22.00 ET/PT with the season finale set for March 14. The show is distributed by Viacom Media Networks.
