Comedy Central clicks with Cosby

US cable network Comedy Central has teamed up with comedian and actor Bill Cosby for a one-off TV special.

Far From Finished will be compiled from material that Cosby performed at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center this summer.

Cosby’s last special was Bill Cosby, Himself in 1983. That show laid the foundations for his best-known work, The Cosby Show, which ran on NBC from 1984 to 1992.

The special has been produced by US-based Levity Productions while Darryl M Bell, Judi Marmel, Robert Hartmann and Stu Schreiberg are exec producers. The programme will air on Comedy Central on November 24.
