Comedy Central cancels Gorburger

The Gorburger Show was created by The Director Brothers

Comedy Central in the US has cancelled The Gorburger Show, the alternative talkshow based on TJ Miller’s Funny or Die web series.

The show, which debuted earlier this year and is into its second season, started online and featured puppets hosting celebrity interviews. It was created by Ryan McNeely and Josh Martin, known as The Director Brothers.

Miller, who voiced and was the puppeteer behind the titular character, has recently been accused of sexual assault during the early 2000s, claims he has denied. The Viacom-owned network said the decision to axe The Gorburger Show was made prior to the recent allegations.
