Cold War doc heads to Europe, Oz

Broadcasters across Europe and Australia have picked up a Cold War docuseries from producer and distributor Big Media and KM Plus Media.

M.A.D. World (Mutually Assured Destruction) takes a look at the tensions between the US and the Soviet Union from the end of the Second World War to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Coproduced with Australia’s Wild Bear Entertainment, the 8×52’ series features never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews with former spies, military leaders and policy makers from both sides of the conflict.

Germany’s ZDF, France’s AB Group, Polsat in Poland, History Channel in Australia and a yet-to-be-announced broadcaster in the US have all secured the series.
