Cisneros appoints Ony exec

Spanish-language prodco Cisneros Studios has bolstered its team with the hire of a leading exec from Latino producer Ony Productions.

Devana: from Ony to Cisneros

Industry veteran Hugo Devana takes on the role of executive producer of Roxanna, the daily variety show hosted by Mexican entertainer, actress and comedian Roxanna Castellanos.

Devana, previously VP of production and content of Miami-based Ony, will report directly to Juan Carlos Sosa, exec VP of operations of Cisneros Studios.

“The integration of Hugo into the Cisneros Studios team is part of the strategy to strengthen and revitalise our production team,” said Sosa.

Founded in 2004, Cisneros Studios is part of Miami-based Cisneros Media, owner of Venezuelan broadcaster Venevision.
