Participant Media’s US cablenet Pivot has agreed a deal for Cineflix Rights to distribute 40 hours of its original commissions.

The deal will see the UK-based sales house take content including two seasons of Hit Record on TV, created by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to the global market. The variety show sees the actor direct a global online community of artists to create a series of live performances, music and animation along a different theme each episode.

Also included in the catalogue is Secret Lives of Americans (10×30’), from All3Media America and MME/Filmpool USA, which sees people divulge their most powerful secrets to those closest to them.

Other titles include Human Resources, which follows a company that aims to eliminate waste, and improvisational musical comedy Freestyle Love Supreme.

Chris Bonney, CEO of rights at Cineflix Media, said: “Pivot has established a strong identity and we’re thrilled to be distributing its slate of entertaining and informative programming to an international audience. We’re looking forward to building on the synergies between Cineflix, Pivot, and Participant Media through this deal.”

The international distribution deal with Pivot was brokered by Anthony Kimble, VP of coproductions and North American acquisitions for Cineflix Rights, and Jerry Blake for Pivot.
