Cineflix extends LMNO pact

MIPCOM: UK-based distributor Cineflix Rights has extended its deal with US factual producer LMNO Entertainment by a further three years.

The agreement sees Cineflix take worldwide rights to distribute more than 1,000 episodes in LMNO’s library as well as its newly commissioned programmes.

The new titles include Killer Confessions (4×60’), which will make its debut on US cablenet Investigation Discovery on October 13. The series mixes real-life police interrogation videos with dramatic reconstructions of crimes.

The second season of Murder Book (13×60’), which follows cold-case investigations, was launched by Cineflix in Cannes this week.

LMNO has produced series for broadcasters in the US including CBS, FOX, NBC, Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Lifetime, LMN, Travel Channel, A&E and History.
