CBS nets land on TalkTalk TV

AMC Networks International-Zone (fka Chello Zone) has struck a deal to expand the reach of its CBS channels in the UK with TalkTalk TV.

Starting this week, TalkTalk TV is offering CBS Action, CBS Drama, CBS Reality +1 and Horror Channel to its IPTV customers. The channels were already available in the UK via Virgin, Sky and Freesat.

AMC Networks International-Zone was formed in the wake of AMC Network’s US$1bn takeover earlier this year.

In related news, TalkTalk yesterday signed a multi-year agreement with Sky to extend its Sky Sports and movies channels offering on its YouView service. The deal also includes the rights to catch-up content for the channels.
