CBS hands new comedies full orders

The Great Indoors has been taken to full season by CBS

US broadcast network CBS has handed full-season orders to two of its new fall comedies, and ordered additional episodes of medical drama Code Black.

The Great Indoors and Man With a Plan have both been extended to full seasons with an additional six episodes ordered for both following their October premieres.

It means CBS has given full-season orders to five of its new fall shows, following the extension of Bull, Kevin Can Wait and Macgyver.

The Great Indoors stars Joel McHale and Stephen Fry and comes from CBS Television Studios, with CBS Studios International handling distribution.

Man With a Plan stars Matt LeBlanc, with the same producer and distributor.

Code Black is from ABC Television Studios, in association with CBS Television Studios.
