CBS, AMC add drama in EMEA

AMC Networks International – Zone (fka Chello Zone) and CBS Studios International are adding a slate of series including The Borgias to their channels across the EMEA region.

More than 230 hours of drama are heading to three of the four entertainment channels that are operated by CBS and AMC Networks in EMEA.

The Borgias, The Good Wife, NCIS and CSI: NY will be available to subscribers of CBS Europa, CBS Drama and CBS Action respectively in Poland as of this month.

Meanwhile, Blue Bloods will air on the CBS Drama, EMEA feed that is broadcast in Southeast Europe, Israel, Russia and other CIS countries from February 2015.

Alina Florea, director of programming for AMC Networks International – Zone, said: “All five titles offer our viewers action-packed drama, world-class performances and thrilling storylines.”

AMC Networks rebranded its Chellomedia International Networks division as AMC Networks International following its US$1bn takeover of the firm last year.
