CBS, Amazon stay Under the Dome

CBS has extended its exclusive US streaming arrangement with Amazon for hit drama Under the Dome.

Amazon’s Prime Instant Video service will remain the online subscription home for the Steven King-inspired show, which is produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment in association with CBS Television Studios.

Subscribers to Amazon Prime will be able to access the recently renewed show four days after their initial broadcast on CBS via a host of devices, while individual episodes will also be available for purchase via Amazon’s Instant Video.

In related news, CBS has also renewed Endemol’s long-running reality format Big Brother for a sixteenth installment to broadcast in 2014. It will be be exec produced by Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment in association with Endemol USA.
