CBBC houses Foundation’s Millie

UK children’s channel CBBC has commissioned a new family sitcom about a child whose parents have just split up from Zodiak Media-owned producer The Foundation.

Millie Inbetween is being exec produced by The Foundation’s Elaine Sperber and Melissa Hardinge for CBBC and stars Millie Innes (Dani’s House).

The show follows the life of Millie, who discovers she now has two opportunities to celebrate Christmas and her birthday following her parent’s separation, but must also accept their new partners.

The kids network has also ordered a second season of comedy-drama All At Sea from its in-house CBBC Productions, along with a third run of Wolfblood.
