CBBC goes fourth with Millie Inbetween

Secret Life of Boys has been given a Christmas special

UK kids’ broadcaster CBBC has ordered a fourth season of Millie Inbetween from Banijay Group-owned Zodiak Kids Studios.

The children’s channel of pubcaster the BBC has also commissioned a Christmas special run of Secret Life of Boys (10×5’) from Zodiak in conjunction with ABC ME in Australia.

Zodiak Kids will produce the new episodes of Millie Inbetween (12×30’), taking the series’ run to more than 50 episodes in total.

The family comedy-drama was nominated for a Bafta Children’s Award this year in the Best Performer category.

Secret Life of Boys, meanwhile, is told through the lens of video chats and text messages. The new episodes will premiere online on BBC iPlayer and ABC ME iview before rolling out on the channels’ linear platforms.
