Cash Cab calls at Philippines

All3Media is behind the Cash Cab format

NEWS BRIEF: Singapore-based production outfit ActiveTV Asia has secured the remake rights to All3Media’s Cash Cab format for the Philippines.

The gameshow, where a taxi driver quizzes unsuspecting passengers and offers them the chance to win cash prizes, was previously produced by ActiveTV as Cash Cab Asia for Sony’s regional AXN channel. The firm will now work on a Philippino version after securing the deal at Mipcom in Cannes today.
