Cartoonito opens Chloe’s Closet

Turner Broadcasting’s UK preschool net Cartoonito has acquired the series Chloe’s Closet from French distributor Moonscoop.

Cartoonito is the latest channel to pick up the 52×11′ 2D animated series created by LA-based indie Mike Young Productions.

Territories include France (France 5 and Playhouse Disney), the US (PBS Kids Sprout), Italy (Mediaset), Russia (Channel One) and Germany (KiKa) already air it.

The show follows the adventures of a girl who discovers magical new worlds while dressing up in her closet.

Chloe’s Closet will join kids’ series such as Fireman Sam, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears on Cartoonito, which is carried by UK satcaster Sky and cableco Virgin Media.
