Canuck comedy drama joins TV5

Karl & Max centres on two men who come across a dead body and a bag of money

Canadian broadcaster TV5 has acquired rights to a French-language scripted series from Israeli distributor Armoza Formats for its international network.

TV5 Monde will air Karl & Max (10×60′) on 11 of its channels across 200 countries next spring.

Armoza Formats is distributing the format as well as the finished series, which launched on Canadian VoD platform Club Illico last year.

The comedy drama follows two men who come across a dead body and a bag containing a gun and millions of dollars whilst on a fishing trip.
