Canada’s YTV launches pop band doc

Canadian kids channel YTV is launching a behind-the-scenes reality series about fledgling pop band 4 Count.

Mission: 4Count (8×30’) follows the lives of brothers Adam and Kieran Ackerman and their bandmates Aaron Scott and Ben Robinson as they prepare for stardom.

The show follows the group, discovered and managed by media mogul Nick Cannon, as they leave their homes in California to hone their musical skills in Canada.

Tricon Films & Television has started production in Toronto and the show will start airing this October.

4Count will also be featured in the YTV Summer Beach Bash special, airing on YTV on August 23 at 18.00 (ET/PT).
