The show, the first season of which aired on ITV in the UK, sees actor James Purefoy and wine writer Jancis Robinson introduced to the presenter line-up, alongside Matthew Goode and Matthew Rhys.

The Wine Show is executive produced by Russ Lindsay and Ross Westgate for Infinity Creative Media and produced by Melanie Jappy.

The seven-part season is currently available on US streamer Hulu and Channel 5 will air it in January 2018.

The onscreen team will be further complemented by London-based head brewer Jaega Wise and Michelin-starred chef and author Stephane Reynaud, with existing resident wine experts Joe Fattorini and Amelia Singer.

In the new season, Italy is swapped for France and each week the team set out to discover the stories behind the wines of the world, with Argentina, Japan, Canada and Georgia also featuring.
