C5 brews up Shine beer show

Channel 5 (C5) in the UK has ordered a three-part observational documentary show focused on one of Britain’s oldest breweries from Shine TV.

Marston’s Brewery: One Ale Of A Job will explore the lives of all those involved in the creation of the company’s beer, from hop growers to pub landlords, and is being exec produced by Lorna-Dawn Creanor at Shine.

The show was greenlit by Greg Barnett, commissioning editor for entertainment, daytime and soaps at C5, and will air in September.
