Channel 4 (C4) in the UK is prepping a mockumentary to be produced by Discovery Communications-owned Raw TV about one of the country’s fringe political parties.

^[1]100 Days of Ukip (working title) will explore how a newly-elected MP from Euro-sceptic political party Ukip fares in her first three months of the job, and will include real-life footage of the party leader Nigel Farage.

Raw was behind last year’s C4 drama Blackout, which combined a fictional storyline with real-life footage about a supposed loss of energy across the UK.

C4 has previously run similar programming including The Trial of Tony Blair, a fictional account of the former UK prime minister in the aftermath of the Iraq war.

Discovery Communications acquired ^[2] UK prodco Raw, which also produces Gold Rush for Discovery Channel in the US, earlier this year.
