C4 picks up Bus Pass

NEWS BRIEF: Public broadcaster Channel 4 (C4) has commissioned a series that explores what it is like to be a pensioner in the UK.

Bus Pass Bandits (working title, 4×60’), made by Liberty Bell Productions for C4 channel More 4, will explore the subject by following celebrity pensioners John Prescott, Johnny Ball, Eve Pollard, Amanda Barrie and Henry Blofeld. C4’s head of formats Dom Bird commissioned the show.
