C4 packs Wolves comedy

The UK’s Channel 4 has commissioned a comedy show written by author and columnist Caitlin Moran that first appeared as a pilot during the network’s 4Funnies season last year.

Raised by Wolves (6×30′) is set on an estate near the city of Wolverhampton and explores her unconventional childhood with sister Caroline.

It is being produced by Big Talk Productions and has been slated for broadcast in 2015, with Big Talk’s CEO Kenton Allen and Caroline Leddy (The Inbetweeners) attached as exec producers.

Moran is also developing a film adaptation of another of her novels, How to Be a Woman, produced by Big Talk Pictures and UK movie channel Film4.
