C4 hungry for more Extreme Cake

Channel 4 in the UK has made a bumper renewal order for its baking series Extreme Cake Makers, while the latest season has been picked up in the US.

S2 of Extreme Cake Makers has gone to Cooking Channel

Welsh producer Boomerang, part of ITV-owned Twofour Group, has received the green light for two more 30×30’ seasons for C4, as well as two specials.

Meanwhile, distribution arm Twofour Rights has secured a deal with US cablenet Cooking Channel to air the second season stateside.

The series, narrated by Rufus Hound, focuses on the skilled bakers who specialise in producing extreme cakes for special occasions.
