C4 gets Shamed by Minnow

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has ordered a new drama called Shamed from London prodco Minnow Films.

Written and directed by Anthony Philipson (My Mad Fat Diary, 24 Hours in A&E), Shamed centres on a woman, played by Faye Marsay (Game of Thrones, Black Mirror), as she takes revenge on two men following a life-changing incident in her teens.

Over the 60-minute progamme, the connection between the three and the role the media has played in their lives becomes clear.

It is the latest one-off drama commission by the Channel 4 factual team, led by head of documentaries Nick Mirsky, following The People Next Door and One Punch, which both aired last year.

Shamed will be produced by Rachel Wardlow with Colin Barr attached as executive producer.
