Michel Roux Jr will front Hidden Kitchens

Michel Roux Jr will front Hidden Kitchens

Channel 4 in the UK has ordered a cookery series exploring restaurants in remote locations featuring Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux Jr.

Hidden Kitchens (4×60’, working title) is from Twofour Group-owned Boomerang and follows the chef to successful but lesser-known restaurants that specialise in inventive cooking and unusual experiences.

The show sees Roux Jr cook meals of his own after visiting sites across the UK including a floating restaurant only accessible by boat and a fine-dining garden shed that seats only eight people.

The series was commissioned by C4 features and daytime commissioning editor Tim Hancock and will be exec produced by Sam Grace.

Roux Jr previously fronted Channel 4 series Kitchen Impossible.
