C More, Viacom primed for Close Up

Bonnier-owned Nordic broadcaster C More Entertainment and Viacom in Italy have picked up a celebrity series from French producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group.

C More will air the latest 13-part season of celebrity portrait show Close Up across Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway this summer, with the company also extending its licence on the previously aired 91 episodes.

Viacom has also renewed its deal for 50 episodes of the show, which will air on its Paramount Channel in Italy later this month.

The show explores the lives of celebrities, with the most recent season focusing on actors such as Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Penelope Cruz.
