Broadcasters in Latin America, France and Israel have picked up a raft of lifestyle shows from Canadian distributor BuzzTaxi.

The sales are the first for BuzzTaxi since the company was taken over [1] by compatriot factual producer Proper Television in June.

In France, pay-TV operator AB Group has licensed the first season of Survivorman (10×60’) and Survivorman: Ten Days (12×60’). Produced by Les Stroud Productions, the series follow Les Stroud as he immerses himself alone in the wild for seven days without food, shelter or fresh water.

Meanwhile, Cuisine TV will air the first season of Cuisinez Comme Louis (52×30’). The series, produced by Broil Productions, stars chef Louis-François Marcotte as he prepares a new recipe, with the help of a new guest star each week.

Discovery Latin America has also picked up four one-off specials to air on its regional feed, including two Associated Producers shows: Age of Anxiety (1×60’) and Science of the Soul (1×90’).

The other shows are Parallel Productions’ Rude: Where Are Our Manners (1×60’) and Dads (1×60’), from The Sound Film, which explores contemporary fatherhood through seven men as they share their experiences, challenges and passions for their children.

Israeli broadcaster Channel 8 has also picked up Dads.
