Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer preps ABC pilot

How May We Hate You? started out as a Tumblr blog

US network ABC has ordered a comedy pilot from Brooklyn Nine-Nine scribe Justin Noble and Kapital Entertainment, based on satirical book and blog How May We Hate You?.

Written by Noble (Idiotsitter), who will serve as co-executive producer alongside Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor of Kapital Entertainment, the pilot will focus on two guest service associates at a high-end resort and the co-workers and customers they have to deal with for eight to sixteen hours a day.

Wendi Trilling of prodco TrillTV will also exec produce, with CBS Television Studios coproducing with ABC Studios.

The as-yet-untitled project germinated from a Tumblr blog written by Anna Drezen and Todd Dakotah Briscoe detailing their “entirely true stories from two hotel concierges in Times Square.”

After gaining popularity online, the blog spawned the book How May We Hate You? Notes from the Concierge Desk, published by Potter Style.
