UK factual prodco Brook Lapping Productions has added an exec from the BBC and an experienced director to its creative team in London.
The Zinc Media (fka Ten Alps) subsidiary has named Emma Hindley as creative director and Alex Nicholson as production executive. Both will work alongside MD Greg Sanderson and executive producer Norma Percy.
Nicholson joins from the BBC, where she managed productions including Human Universe and Wonders of Life. She previously worked on 15 Kids and Counting for Channel 4.
Hindley has spent the past 20 years specialising in directing documentaries and history programmes, including the RTS Award-winning and Bafta-nominated doc Living With Cancer, Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Unspeakable Crime: Rape.
She was formerly creative director of Silver River, where she oversaw productions such as Nick & Margaret On Benefits, Confessions Of… , Dancing Cheek to Cheek and Fit to Rule.
Brook Lapping recently produced Inside Obama’s White House for BBC2 and Paxman on Trump v Clinton for BBC1. It has also produced shows for National Geographic Channel and Channel 5.
