Bravo, Nelonen spot Blind format

US cablenet Bravo and Finnish broadcaster Nelonen have picked up a new format based on buying homes.

Snowman Productions’ Buying Blind

Buying Blind was originally produced by Red Arrow Studios International’s Danish producer Snowman Productions for TV3 in Denmark and has been recommissioned for a second season locally.

The Bravo remake will be produced by US producer Kinetic Content as Buying It Blind, with Chris Coelen, Katie Griffin, Eric Detwiler, Robert Zimmerman and Jennifer Faison Herron serving as executive producers. The Finnish version of Buying Blind will be produced by prodco Moskito Television.

The new orders follow international commissions for the format from Nine Network in Australia, produced by Endemol Shine Australia; RTL in the Netherlands, produced by Wise Monkeys; and M6 in France, produced by Studio89. All of these commissions are currently in production.

Buying Blind follows couples that cannot agree on what kind of house to buy and so hand their budgets and requirements to a specialist team that does it for them.
