US women’s network Bravo will launch a Facebook game to run alongside the five season of The Real Housewives of New York City, marking its latest experiment in social gaming.
The Real Housewives: The Game will let fans build their own virtual environment, take part in recreated scenes from the show and win categories such as ‘hottest wardrobe’ and ‘highest social standing’. They will be given on-air recognition during the series.
Bravo first moved into the social gaming space in September, launching a spin-off title for its weekly chatshow Watch What Happens: Live, called Turtle Time. The new season of Housewives is expected to air this summer.
