Bravo nabs NBC digital exec

US cablenet Bravo Media has appointed an NBC News executive to bolster its digital management team.

Jonathan Hills becomes VP of digital media and will lead Bravo’s audience engagement strategy, developing the channel’s digital business by creating new products and experiences.

Hill will be based in New York and report to Lisa Hsia, executive VP of digital at NBCUniversal-owned Bravo and Oxygen Media.

He joins from NBC News Digital where he was VP of operations and oversaw audience development and content partnerships. Before that, Hills worked on the digital offering from US factual net History.

Hill’s appointment follows a reshuffle to Bravo’s team made in March that saw changes made to its production and development divisions.

That followed the hiring of two senior execs to its production and development teams in January. BBC America’s Rachel Smith became VP of current production while Joseph Ferraro moved from Ryan Seacrest Productions to be VP of development.
