Bråkenhielm sails into 3Rivers

Dutch media consultancy 3Rivers has added the founder of Talpa Scandinavia (now named Silverback) to its international team.

Industry veteran Anna Bråkenhielm returns to the international media business in the newly created role of senior consultant.

Bråkenhielm led Strix Television for more than a decade and in 2006 founded Talpa Scandinavia on behalf of Dutch media entrepreneur John de Mol.

In May 2007, she took 100% control of the company and re-branded it as Silverback. In May 2008, she sold Silverback to ITV and remained CEO for another two years.

In 2011, Anna founded production company Scandinavian Studios, where she produced content in all areas of media, encompassing digital platforms, television and film. Bråkenhielm sold her shares in Scandinavian Studios to majority owner Bonnier Group in 2014.

3Rivers is involved in business development projects with international broadcasters and media owners in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Russia and Scandinavia. The firm works with companies including Warner Bros, ProSiebenSat.1 and All3Media.
