Blue Ant adds AOL exec

Canadian channels operator Blue Ant Media has poached an AOL exec to oversee its digital brand strategy.

Laura Pearce becomes VP of brand strategy and fan engagement and will work across Blue Ant’s channels including Cottage Life, T+E, Oasis and Smithsonian Channel Canada.

She takes up the newly created role today, based out of the company’s head office in Toronto.

Pearce has more than 15 years of digital marketing experience and joins from AOL Canada, where she oversaw marketing and communications for brands including StyleList Canada, Parentdish and AOL’s Platform products, such as Adap.TV.
