Black hires WME exec to expand into TV

Hollywood actor Jack Black’s production company Electric Dynamite has hired a former WME talent agent and partnered with the LA company behind Biggest Loser to grow its TV output.

Electric Dynamite has hired WME alumnus Priyanka Mattoo to join Black and business partner Ben Cooley to take the firm into television, via a deal with Lis Murdoch’s US production company Reveille.

The two firms will work together on scripted comedies, animation and unscripted series for TV and online. Reveille sister company Shine International will handle global distribution for projects coming out of the partnership.
